Lee Morrison is a Combatives Instructor – his website is www.urbancombatives.com
I highly recommend him, please check out his site. “Target Hardening” is a security industry term that usually refers to making buildings a less attractive target. In terms of self protection it is the individual who needs to be trained to meta communicate that he or she is not an “easy mark”. I really liked the fact that they use motion capture to show that even with minimal information (glowing dots moving) we can train ourselves to perceive, just through body language alone, the habitual psychological and emotional states of an individual. “Victim Selection” is the cognitive process a criminal predator goes through (with varying degrees of self awareness that they are doing it from wholly, explicitly conscious, to totally unconscious) to select a victim to suit their needs depending on the context and their agenda. This video demonstrates nicely some key elements to both, and that within a short time period of training you can have a positive impact on how others perceive you.
